Museo Sefardí / Sefardi Museum

Classified as part of the so called Jewish Quarter Plan, the Sefardi Museum and the future synagogue will be housed in the same building. They will be built beside the Plaza de la Nieves, a new square that will be created with the joining of Calle  Alcazabilla with Calle Granada. The building will have four floors and will measure 430 metres squared. The building will hold the use of the synagogue as a hall with multiple uses as well as house the Sefardi Museum. The part that lies closest to Calle Granada will be dedicated to the museum and will have its own separate access and will take up 230 metres squared of the ground floor and first floor.
Both the design of the synagogue as well as the museum will have a unique character. The exterior will possibly be white in colour and have a stuccoed coating of bright ochre known as “from Jerusalem” as it comes from this city.
