Enjoy thrilling race days at Mijas Racecourse! An ideal place to hold celebrations, product presentations, fairs and events, the day is split amongst five races with half hour intervals in between. The track order so as to enjoy the races is as follows:
– Saddling area: get up close to the horses and see how they are prepared with the saddle, the identifying numbered saddle pad, etc.
– Paddock: next to the saddling area, the horses walk around for a closer contact with the public.
– Once the paddock walk has finished, the horses are taken to the track. This is when to place a bet.
– Start of the race: the horses exit the starting gate.
– The winning horse does a parade or winners ceremonial entry into the public enclosure.
The horse races are broadcast by N340 Television in Mijas and Televisión Espa?ola.
